We had a reservation for two, showed up right after happy hour ended, and got seated immediately...no wait, no stress! She went in on the steak frites, I had the burger with a French 75, and let me tell you... not a crumb left behind. Everything was fire. Oh, and heads up...gratuity was already included in the bill, so no surprises there. ”

“ I absolutely love coming to MJ's. I have been here on my birthday at least six times. I always start off with a very expensive $36 shot of Michael Jordan's tequila brand, Cincoro. My son and I have a competition on who can finish the Wagyu burger. That thing is massive! The service is always 5-star! Even the outside valet is on point. My wife's favorite part about visiting is the lava cake. It is expensive. I average $500-600 for my family each visit. But I highly recommend Michael Jordan's steakhouse! I can't wait to visit again. ”

“ This is such a good restaurant, but I personally don't know if it would be worth the large price tag outside of Chicago Restaurant Week for me. My husband is a HUGE Michael Jordan fan, so that was our initial interest in coming. The MJ décor is a little minimal, but tastefully incorporated. We have come for restaurant week in 2024 & 2025. This year I went with the filet mignon that came with mashed potatoes, and I opted for the shrimp on the side for an upcharge. My steak was the perfect medium rare, and very flavorful and tender. The portion was a little smaller for restaurant week, but it was perfect. The meal also came with soup, corn chowder with bacon, and garlic bread with a cheese fondue over the top. That garlic bread with the cheese..... perfection. I was scraping the bottom of the plate with my bread to get every drop. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, nice and seasoned and not rubbery, at all. My husband did the upcharge for their signature Delmonico steak, and he was VERY happy with his meal. We also had drinks & dessert, all really delicious. The service was 100% spot on, with all the wait staff being very attentive as well as knowledgeable in terms of their menu. When we pulled up at the entrance on Michigan, we didn't see any valet outside. It was a Sunday evening, and we're not sure if we just missed it or if it wasn't available at that time. We ended up getting a Spot Hero parking, and walked the 1 block over. The restaurant itself is located in the Intercontinental Hotel. The building contains some awesome Chicago Architecture, so do yourself a favor and take a little stroll after your meal around the building itself. The building was finished in 1929, and was originally the Medinah Athletic Club, and has some awesome artwork and stone reliefs strewn throughout the building. ”

“ I was visiting Chicago during restaurant week-I believe the pricing was $30 for an app, modified main course and dessert. This was my first time in MJ's iconic steakhouse and I am from the Chicagoland area which is shameful of me. First, let's talk about the appetizer that I ordered: a garlic bread with a cheese fondue poured on the top once it is served to your table. I could eat this at least once a week. And that's not an over exaggeration. It is that good. If you don't order anything else, get the bread and fondue. Second-I had a modified ounce NY strip that was cooked to perfection. The steak was seared just right and cooked to a perfect medium. Every piece of that steak literally melted in my mouth like butter. It was truly a 10/10. The potatoes were also solid. Last, I had the bread pudding. It wasn't the best bread pudding as it fell a bit dry but was well seasoned and perfectly spiced. I had a beautiful Old Fashioned, made just right and it carried me through the rest of the night, if you know what I mean. My sister had a salad that she said was yummy and was also satisfied. The restaurant's entrance sits on Michigan Ave and you will need to park at a nearby garage if you drive and walk over. My sister and I stayed at the historic Inter-Continental Hotel and the restaurant is connected to the hotel. Service was great, nice vibe and we had a great experience. The hotel also holds rare photos never seen on the second floor when MJ played for the Bulls and that was a nice touch. The only reason I left off a star is because when I went back the second night the steak wasn't cooked as well as the first and I was slightly disappointed. I wanted to duplicate the night before! Still a great experience. ”

“ I had been looking forward to trying this restaurant for a while and was able to go over Valentine's Day weekend. The vibe is really classy and cozy inside. Our service was excellent - Julio was our waiter and was very friendly, efficient, and attentive. The food was delicious- we were stuffed, but it was difficult to stop eating because it was all so good! The filet could almost cut without a knife and the bourbon peppercorn sauce was the perfect addition. Definitely recommend this restaurant for a special night out! ”

“ I went for restaurant week 2025 and opted for the $30 menu. It was a three course meal with big portions -- I had their caesar salad, ny strip, and passionfruit panna cotta. I also had a bite of my friend's garlic bread with cheese sauce drizzled on top, Mike's Big Burger, their truffle fries, and the salted caramel banana bread. The garlic bread and ny strip were the main standouts, but everything we had was packed with flavor! ”

“ We had a fantastic experience at Michael Jordan's - better than expected. Here's what we ordered: Garlic Bread - look, I know, $16 for some bread sounds excessive, but items worth it. The creamy kase blue cheese fondue is what dreams are made of MJ's Chopped Salad - first, this is an entree sized salad, we split it among 3 people and had more than we could eat. All the things you want a salad to be. Steak Flight - what a delight!! If I was to rank the cuts (all ordered and delivered medium): filet, ribeye, ny strip BUT there was nothing to compare the ny strip to it would have been excellent. Love that it came out with flavored butter, a sauce and flaky salt too. Creamed spinach - don't over-do it on the sides. I'm sure they're all delicious but with the starters we only had room for 1 and opted to make sure it was green. 23 Layer Chocolate Cake - we did not love this... but it's ok, we were too stuffed to take more than a bite or 2 Drinks - Jumpman was not only super-cool looking but it was delicious. Winter crush was the highlight drink, imo Old Fashioned - good but not the "best" ”
